I am asking how we know the Canon is closed and who decided to close it? If God decided, how do we know that? I had thought it was in a meeting held by people who said God don't talk anymore. So how did they know?

An opening of Covenant & canon begins with Moses/Law. [Exodus 34]

Why no closure of the Moses/Law Covenant and canon.

Why the renewed/new Covenant was not accompanied with the instruction to be written down.

Isaiah 29:13-14   Jeremiah 31:33-34

REF: In My Ears | video
  1. initial efforts to canonize were begun in attempt to answer Marcion's dualistic faith and his "Jefferson Bible" publishing.
  2. motivation for more recent efforts to preserve a (western) canon:
(#1) to keep accord with traditional theology
(#2) to mark & group what most seem to be faithful texts
(#3) to source reasoned affirmation of spiritual things
  3. how disciples & saints may have responded differently (more effectually) to Marcion and his followers.
  4. how disciples & saints today may have responded differently (more effectually) to critical canon practices in faith.
