At one time, Jesus spits in the dirt and rubs it in someone's eye (John 9:6); in another place He touches the person (Luke 5:13); from a distance speaks a condition of obedience (Luke 17:12-14); sometimes speaking calmly (John 4:50), sometimes loudly (John 11:43). Was Jesus trusting in technique? (John 8:28-29). Are we relying upon God, or method?
