Repentance
Numbers 21:5-9 “The people spoke against God and Moses, Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we loathe this miserable food. The LORD sent fiery serpents/snakes among the people and they bit the people, so that many people of Israel died. So the people came to Moses and said, We have sinned, because we have spoken against the LORD and you; intercede with the LORD, that He may remove the serpents/snakes from us. And Moses interceded for the people. Then the LORD said to Moses, Make a fiery serpent/snake, and set it on a standard; and it shall come about, that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, he will live. And Moses made a bronze serpent/snake and set it on the standard; and it came about, that if a serpent/snake bit any man, when he looked to the bronze serpent/snake, he lived.”
John 3:14-15 [Jesus:] “According as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert/wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up…”
John 6:29,40 “Jesus answered and said to them, This is the work of God, that you may be believing in that One Whom He commissions. … For My Father's will is that everyone who shall be looking to the Son and believing in Him shall have eternal life, and I shall be raising him in the last day.

Isaiah 55:6-7 “Seek the Lord while He may be found; call on Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him, and to our God, for He will freely pardon.”

James 1:14-15 “But each one is tempted when he is drawn/dragged away and lured/enticed by his own desire. Then, the desire conceives and gives birth to sin; and sin, reaching its mature end, is teeming/bringing forth death.”
Ezekiel 18:23-31Do I have/take any pleasure in the death of the wicked?, declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live? But when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity and does according to all the abominations that a wicked man does, will he live? All his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered for his treachery which he has committed and his sin which he has committed; for them he will die. Yet you say, The way of the Lord is not right. Hear now, O house of Israel! Is My way not right? Is it not your ways that are not right? When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity and dies because of it, for his iniquity which he has committed he will die. Again, when a wicked man turns away from his wickedness that he has committed and practices justice and righteousness, he will save his life, because he considered and turned away from all his transgressions which he had committed, he shall surely live; he shall not die. But the house of Israel says, The way of the Lord is not right. Are My ways not right, O house of Israel? Is it not your ways that are not right? Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each according to his conduct, declares the Lord GOD. Repent and turn away from all your transgressions, so that iniquity may not become a stumbling block to you. Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed, and get a new heart and a new spirit. Why will you die, O house of Israel?

Ephesians 4:17-24 “So I tell you this, and affirm together with the Lord, that you must no longer walk/live as the nations do, in the vanity/futility of their mind/thinking, darkened in their understanding and separated/estranged from the life of God because of ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts; having become callous/insensitive, in greed they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to practice every kind of impurity as a vocation. You, however, did not come to know/learn Christ that way. Surely you heard of Him and were taught in Him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus, (with regard to your former way of life,) to put off the old self/humanity, which is being corrupted in accord with its seductive desires; to be made new/rejuvenated in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self/humanity in accord with God, being created in true righteousness and benignity/faultlessness of the truth.”

Romans 8:5-9 “Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who are in accord are set on what the Spirit desires. The disposition of the flesh is death, but the disposition of the Spirit is life and peace; the disposition of the flesh is hostile/opposed to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor is it able to do so. Those who are (still) in the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are not in the flesh, but in Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives/dwells in you.”
Ephesians 5:8-10 “For you were once in darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth) and be testing/finding out what is pleasing to the Lord.”

Romans 12:1-2 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, by God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God; your logical divine service. II Peter 2:21-22 “It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them. Of them the proverbs are true: A dog returns to its own vomit, and A sow that is washed goes back to wallowing in the mud.
Luke 9:62 “To him Jesus said, No one who sets his hand to the plow and looking behind/back is fit for/in the kingdom of God.
I John 2:15-17 “Never give your hearts to this world or to any of the things in it. If ever anyone is loving the world, the love of the Father is not in him, for everything that is in the world, the desire of the flesh, and the desire of the eyes, and the ostentation of living, is not of the Father, but is of the world -- the world that is passing away, along with its desire -- yet he who is doing the will of God is remaining for the ages.”
