Love Brotherly
I Peter 1:22 “Having purified your souls by obedience to the truth for a sincere fondness of the brethren, love one another earnestly in true heart.”
Hebrews 13:1 “Let brotherly love continue/remain.”
John 3:8 family = "born of the Spirit”
What about those without birth into the Spirit?
Matthew 5:44-45 “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes His sun rise on the wicked and the good, and makes it rain on the just and the unjust.”
Colossians 4:5 “Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time --- reclaiming the age."
  The precedence of brotherhood
Leviticus 19:18; Deuteronomy 15:1-11; 23:19-20
Galatians 6:10 “As we have opportunity, we are working for/toward the good of all, yet especially for/toward the family of faith."
Brotherhood in Jesus Christ --- not friendship or personal intimacy -- is the basis of our brotherly love.
The first thing shared is the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:4 “they are all filled with the Holy Spirit”
II Corinthians 13:14 “fellowship of the Holy Spirit" or "communion/community of the Holy Spirit”

Acts 4:32-35 “Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of his possessions was his own, but it was all theirs in common… There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of what was sold and laid it at the apostles' feet; and distribution was made forasmuch as some would have need.”
I John 3:16-18 “By this we know love, that He laid down his life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But if any one has livelihood in this world and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart/compassion from him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or speech but in action and in truth.”
I Corinthians 12:12 “Just as the [human] body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is in Christ.”
