Christian Sin?
Numbers 15:27 “And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.”
Numbers 15:28 “An the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sins ignorantly, when he sins by ignorance before the Lord, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.”
Numbers 15:30 “But the soul that does aught presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproaches/blasphemes the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.”
Numbers 15:31 “Because he has despised the word of the Lord, and has broken His commandment, that soul shall be utterly cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.”
I John 1:7 “But IF we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
Hebrews 9:7 “But into the second [tabernacle] went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people.”
This word “error” is from the Greek: agnoema, which means: a sin (that committed through ignorance or thoughtlessness). [Strongs #51]
Hebrews 10:26-27 “For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries.”
The adversaries are those who come to rebel against God.
Ezekiel 18:21 “But if the wicked turn away from all his sins that he has committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.”
Ezekiel 18:24 “But when the righteous turns away from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does, shall he live? All his righteousness that he has done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he has trespassed, and in his sin that he has sinned, in them shall he die.”
II Peter 2:21
Luke 6:46 “And why call to Me, 'Lord, Lord' and yet do not the things I say?”
I John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light… the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
I John 5:17 “All wrongdoing is sin, but there is sin which is not mortal (not to death).”
I John 3:4 “…sin is the transgression of the law.”
John 1:12 “But to all who received Him, who believed in His name, He gave power to become children of God…”
Did John say “…all who believed in His name are children of God”?
Proverbs 1:28-33
Hebrews 6:4-8
James 1:14-15 “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin; and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.”
Greek: Epithumia [Strongs #1939]: temptation; a longing for what is forbidden.
Greek: Deleazo [Strongs #1185]: to entrap; entice.
Greek: Tiktei [Strongs #5088] to produce from seed.

Romans 6:16 “…his servants you are to whom you obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness.”
Hebrews 2:17 “Wherefore in all things it behooved Him to be made like unto His brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest…”
Hebrews 4:15 “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
I John 2:3-6 “And hereby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He that says, 'I know Him', and keeps not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, in Him truly is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in Him. He that says he abides in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.”
1 John 2:29 “If you know that He is righteous, you know that every one that does righteousness is born of Him.”
1 John 3:4-10 “Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. Whosoever abides in Him sins not: whosoever sins has not seen Him, neither known Him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin; for His seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.”
I John 5:2-3 “By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous.”
Hebrews 12:14 “Pursue peace with all, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”
