John 4:1-44 - Ten Tribes of uncommitted Samaritans
Ιησους [Jesus] was bound for Samaria, stopping at the city of Shakar/Suchar (meaning, "Strong Drink"), with the disciples entering the city for food... Ιησους sitting at Jacobs' Well & Spring ("living/moving water"). The Samartans were about to get a taste... A woman from Samaria arrives, and Ιησους asked her for a drink, but, He is of Judah, and at this time Judaeans don't share or cooperate with Samaritans. Ten tribes of Israel had long ago blended themselves with other nations, to fill the land north, known as Samaria.
[16] Ιησους is saying to her, "Go summon your man, and come to this place."
[17] The woman answered and said, "I am not holding to a man."
[18] Ιησους is saying to her, "Idealy you say, 'I am not holding to a man.'
As with five men you hold, and now whom you hold to, not as your man.
True to this, as declared."
Through this woman, the Samaritan response was unlike discourse with Nicodemus [John 3]. As an unfaithful bride, she had held herself out to others, until no longer.
[25] The woman is saying to Him, "I have perceived that Messiah is coming; the word being said: Anointed. Whenever He may be coming, that One, He will be messaging to us all."
[26] Ιησους saying to her, "I am. The One talking to you."
